Bhubaneswar: Protesting against Centre’s apathy towards the state, the ruling BJD is all set to hold a rally on Friday near the Vedanta Alumina refinery at Lanjigarh in Kalahandi. The ruling party aims to highlight the double standards maintained by the Centre on refusal of environmental clearance to Vedanta project and eco nod to Polavaram project on river Godavari in Andhra Pradesh. The ruling party has alleged that the Congress party is shedding crocodile tears for the cause of tribals whereas the developmental schemes launched in the state in the last ten years during the BJD regime gives a clear picture of it.
